A virtual pet & girlfriend simulator, designed and built in-house
Kitty Girlfriend is a casual virtual pet and girlfriend simulator we designed and developed entirely in-house. The player looks after a charming character — interacting, caring and playing through everyday moments — in a light, feel-good loop made for short, relaxing sessions on the phone.
We built Kitty Girlfriend end to end with Unity and C#: gameplay, art direction, UI and the full publishing pipeline to Google Play. From the first concept to a live store listing available worldwide, every part of the game was produced by the Aunimeda team — the same craft we bring to client projects, applied to our own product.
Feeding, playing and looking after the character are short, self-contained actions. The game is designed to be picked up for two minutes and put down without guilt or a lost streak.
Character design, animation and the entire UI were produced by our team rather than bought as an asset pack, which is why the game reads as one coherent look instead of a collage.
Gameplay systems, save handling and the interaction loop are custom C# on top of Unity — the same engine and workflow we use when a client asks us for a mobile game.
Store assets, the ratings questionnaire, release builds and the review process were all handled by us. The game is live on Google Play and available worldwide.
